During her time at EF Academy Oxford, Marie made sure to choose extracurricular clubs that complemented her interest in renewable energy and the fight against climate change. She joined the Green Team, Model United Nations, and the Ambassador Program.
When she first came to EF Academy, Marie experienced some struggles academically. As part of the IB Diploma Programme, she was taking several highlevel courses, including physics, chemistry and mathematics. She attended support sessions that are offered on campus and successfully improved her grades significantly; “the teachers were so helpful, they would answer all my questions.” Today, Marie is studying chemistry at the University of Oxford.

Reminiscing about her time at EF Academy, she fondly remembers spending the evenings with all her friends, “especially during spring and summer in South Park, just hanging out. Everyone was welcome, and it was just a great time.”
